PhD in Geography (Geoinformatics). The research area primarily focuses on Geoinformatics, Geospatial analysis and Spatial data structuring, Remote sensing, Applied geomorphology, Land degradation (Soil erosion, Deforestation, etc.), Land Use and Land Cover Change Analysis, and Environmental management (Natural resource assessment, Watershed management, and Soil and water conservation). Beyond my academic pursuits, I've also gained practical experience as an assistant professor in the Department of Geography at various colleges and universities in Ethiopia since 2013. During this time, I've had the opportunity to take on leadership roles within higher educational institutions in Ethiopia, further enriching my professional expertise and perspective.
