Retired from the Institute during 2014 September. Currently serving as an International Consultant on Sugar and energy cane development, Sugar and energy plantation management and management of sugarcane genetic resources.. Major areas of interest: sugarcane breeding and genetics, biotechnology, genetic resources and biofuel research.
