About
I am an experienced earth-science graduate (PhD) from IIT ISM Dhanbad, India with designated experience in Archean granite-greenstone terrains. Research interests include but not limited to Archean crustal evolution, early-earth tectonics, deformation microstructure, supercontinent cycle and deep earth processes. Skilled in igneous petrology, geochemistry, zircon U-Pb geochronology, zircon Lu-Hf systematics, mineral chemistry etc. Proficient in operating Image Analyzer, Frantz Isodynamic Separator (Heavy mineral separation based on magnetic susceptibility) and Vibratory Disc Mill-Retsch RS200 (Sample powdering for major and trace element analysis). Having hands on experience in LA-ICPMS (Thermo Fischer), CL imaging (Tescan Vega 3) and EPMA (Cameca SX-5) operation.
