About
I am an environmental scientist and educator working at the intersection of ecology, sustainability, and urban environmental health. I currently teach undergraduate courses in Environmental Science and Biology in Washington, D.C., where I emphasize experiential, data-driven, and inquiry-based learning that connects ecological theory to real-world challenges. I earned my Ph.D. in Environmental Science from Tezpur University, India, where my research focused on air pollution, biomonitoring, and ecosystem health. My current interests include biodiversity conservation, regenerative urban systems, and sustainable policy design. I am deeply committed to mentoring students and creating inclusive learning spaces that empower them to think critically, work collaboratively, and contribute to a more sustainable and equitable future.
