About
Dr. Das was born in Haripal, West Bengal India. His hometown is Haripal, a small town in West Bengal, India where he started his childhood schooling at Mannapara Primary School, Hooghly. Thereafter he started is high school at Haripal GD Institution, Haripal (West Bengal Board) from class 5 to class 12. He passed his boards WBBSE and WBCHSE (Science) in the year 2010 and 2012 respectively. He completed his Graduation (BSc) in Industrial Chemistry (Honors) and post-graduation (MSc) in Applied Chemistry from Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira, Belur Math in the academic years 2012-2015 and 2015-2017 respectively. His MSc Project was guided by Dr. Uttam Kumar Ghorai. He got admitted to one of the most elite Institutes (through Gate (XE-2017) with all India rank of 56), Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur for M.Tech. degree in Rubber Technology (2017-2019). On December 2024, he defended his PhD thesis and got doctorate degree from IIT Kharagpur working under the supervision of Prof. Narayan Chandra Das. His thesis title was " Multifunctional Elastomeric Composites for Electromagnetic Radiation Shielding Applications". Presently (from October 2024) he is deputed in the role of Postdoctoral Research @Chair of Inorganic Colloids for Electrochemical Energy Storage in the University of Bayreuth, Germany. Dr. Das is an experienced and skilled in Research, Team Management, Laboratory Setup, Event Planning, Fundraising, and Teaching.
