About
Dr. Chatterjee is currently Professor in Physics at IIT Bhubaneswar, India. He has about 20+ years of research experience in accelerator-based physics and technologies and currently working in the field of sensors and renewable energy using ion beam engineered 2D materials. He has successfully supervised 8 PhD scholars in this field. He has so far published 78+ papers in reputed international journals, 02 patents and 02 book chapters. He has received several national and international prestigious recognitions. He has established a wide and strong network of international and national level collaborations with different ion-beam labs. His group has developed several setups such as ion-implantation, Electron irradiation setup, gas-sensing and bio-sensing units, energy storage measurement facility at IIT. Apart from experiments, his group has been working on state-of-the-art ion-solid interaction simulation namely TRI3DYN and first principle-based calculations to explain ion beam materials modification.
