I am currently working as Professor in the Department of Periodontics and Implantology, Manipal University College Malaysia, Melaka, Malaysia.

I am actively involved in the research in the field of Periodontology and Implantology
since 2006. My areas of research interest includes Periodontal Surgical Research, Regeneration studies, Implantology, LASERS, Animal studies, Clinical trials, Phytotherapy, Herbal research, Knowledge, attitude and practice based questionnaire studies, studies on Periodontics- systemic disease in particular Parkinson's disease, Cochrane systematic reviews, Local drug delivery system, and Genetics.

I have obtained one permanent product patent and recipient of Biotechnology Ignition Grant Scheme (BIG) funding for product development in the year 2022.
