About
Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Systems from the Faculty of Technology of Sorocaba (FATEC Sorocaba), followed by Master's and Ph.D. degrees in Biotechnology and Environmental Monitoring from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). Research experience includes the development and characterization of biomaterials for tissue engineering, with emphasis on biodegradable polymers, rheology, extrusion-based 3D printing, scaffold fabrication, thermal characterization, and degradation studies. Doctoral research focused on the development of polymeric scaffolds for cartilage tissue engineering. Postdoctoral research at the Israelita Albert Einstein Institute for Education and Research (IIEP) focused on organ-on-a-chip technologies, microfluidic platforms, computational modeling, and preclinical biomedical applications. Currently serving as a Substitute Professor in the Department of Marine Sciences at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), teaching undergraduate courses. Research interests include biomaterials, tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, biodegradable polymers, biofabrication, rheology, microphysiological systems, computational modeling, and translational biomedical research. Author of peer-reviewed scientific publications in these areas.
