About

I am a Principal Scientist at Water Technology Centre, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, new Delhi. My area of specialization is Soil and Water Conservation Engineering. I am working on Integrated Watershed Management approach for conservation and management of Natural Resources under changing climatic conditions. My operation areas have been North Eastern Hills Region, North Western Hills Region, Central Himalayan Region, Sub-Himalayan and Aravali foot Hills region. I am a faculty of the Post Graduate School of IARI (Deemed) University. I teach the courses like Design of Farm Drainage Systems, Watershed Hydrology and Management and Open Channel Hydraulics. I have guided 2 Ph. D. and 4 M.Sc./M.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering) Students.
