About

Dr. Subhendu Pradhan is an Assistant Professor in finance, Department of Higher Education, Government of Odisha. He got Odisha Education Service (OES -I officer Cadre) under Odisha Public Service Commission. He worked as a Post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Economics at Indian Institute of Technology Indore. He had completed M.Phil and Ph.D in Management from Pondicherry Central University. He was awarded Doctoral Fellowship from Indian Council of Social Sciences Research, New Delhi in 2015. He worked with esteemed institutes- IIT Indore, VIT Vellore and Amity University. He also got opportunity to work with Amrita university and XIM university Bhubaneswar.
His research interests include Corporate Actions, Information Efficiency, CAPM, Cryptocurrency markets, SRI, ESG and Volatility models. He had published more than 30 research papers in National and International Journals and presented more than 15 research papers in national and international conferences. He acted as resource person for FDP or Workshop on Research methods such Structural Equation modelling, Statistical tools and applied financial econometrics using STATA, AMOS 20, LISREL 8.72, Smart PLS3 and Eviews 7, SPSS 20, R studio and MS Excel, Python. His teaching interests are Financial derivatives, Financial modelling, Alternating investments, Fixed Income securities, Business valuations, Financial econometrics, Corporate Finance, FM and SAPM,
Apart from teaching and research, He had taken other academic responsibilities like Coordinator for Master thesis of MBA Program, Committee member of Ph.D Program, Program chair- B.com program, coordinator of Finance forum, NAAC Committee member and member of IQAC.
