Ardhendu Mouli Mohanty

About

Born in 1952 in village Rasalpur, Jagatsinghpur Father Late Raj Kishore Mohanty and mother Shrimati Biraj Bala Mohanty.
Dr. Ardhendu Mouli Mohanty has an experience of 46 years, 35 years in the industry and 11 years in academics. A graduate in Mechanical Engineering from University College of Engineering, Sambalpur University in the year 1973, he obtained M. Tech in Production Science & Technology from IIT Kharagpur and PhD in Welding Engineering from IIT Madras.
Joined BHEL as an Engineering Trainee and worked in BHEL for 16 years. He was a shop floor engineer and worked in pressure vessel fabrication. Later he became a part of the team to start and manage Welding Research Institute. Worked as a welding research engineer for boilers, ship building and other welding consultancy projects. He worked 19 years in PPL Paradeep Phosphates Ltd as Chief of Inspection and Head of Maintenance and Head of Projects specialized in renovation and capacity expansion projects of the fertilizer plant.
Joined Centurion University in November 2010 as Principal CIT, Pro Vice Chancellor up to November 2021 at Centurion University engaged in teaching welding & metrology courses, skill domains, academic administration and research. The main area of research is Welding and Electro Discharge Machining.
