About

Mr. Dewan got his Ph.D. in Medical Sciences at the Graduate School of Medical and Dental Sciences, Tokyo Medical and Dental University, Japan in 2021. His doctoral studies include the elucidation of the mechanism of acute vascular inflammation progression by qualitative changes due to the interaction between neutrophils and the endothelium induced by the complement protein C5a. He focused on the induction of chronic inflammation by complement stimulated neutrophil-induced monocyte migration in the context of atherosclerosis.

Previously, he graduated from Noakhali Science and Technology University majoring in Pharmacy, and earned a Master's degree in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology from the same university. After graduating, he worked as a Production Officer at ACI Limited. He was in charge of manufacturing cephalosporin drugs.

He is interested in studies related to immunology, vascular biology, cellular and molecular biology, and pharmacology. Mr. Dewan is an honorable member of the Japan Atherosclerosis Society, Japan Cardiovascular Association, and the European Society of Cardiology. He is also a prominent reviewer of various renowned scientific journals.

He is now deliberately seeking a Postdoctoral/Assistant Professor/Scientist position.
