About
Born and raised in Kashmir, Tanveer Ahmad Khan recently finished his Ph.D. at the Department of Sociology, Aligarh Muslim University, India. His Ph.D. thesis focussed on the Social Exclusion of Traditional Occupational Groups in Kashmir: A Case Study of District Ganderbal. His areas of expertise include Sociology of Work and Occupation, Sociology of Exclusion and Inclusion, Sociology of Conflict, and Contemporary Social Issues of Kashmiri Society. His research has appeared at places like Routledge, Sage, Springer, and Oxford University Press. He is better informed in qualitative research.
