About

Chittaranjan Subudhi is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Social Work) Delhi School of Social Work from 2025. He served as an Assistant Professor, in the Department of Social Work, School of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Central University of Tamil Nadu (by an Act of Parliament) Thiruvarur, India from 2016-2025 (January). He has a Bachelor Degree in Commerce and a Master Degree in Social Work from the Utkal University of Odisha, India. He has completed his PhD in Mental Health from the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, National Institute of Technology Rourkela, India. He has conducted research in various areas like Health and Mental Health, Medical Anthropology, Family and Child Welfare, Disability studies, and Tribal Health issues. He teaches Psychiatric Social Work, Working with Individuals and Communities, Qualitative Research, ICTs in Social Development and Health System Management. He has written many articles including conference papers and published in national and international reputed peer-reviewed journals. He has written many articles including conference papers and published in national and international reputed peer-reviewed journals including Springer, Sage, Routledge, Taylor & Francis, Web of Science and SCOPUS indexed journals.

He has extensive professional experiences in university teaching; research consultancy; extensive fieldwork supervision, mentoring postgraduate students; conducting various soft skill training and professional development programmes; organised various national, international conferences. He is also associated with various National organizations and associations including the Indian Society of Professional Social Work (ISPSW). Now he is a member of Equal Opportunity Cell, Gender Sensitivity Cell, and Discipline Committee, Central University of Tamil Nadu, from 2018.
