About
A Bioinformatics researcher (PhD graduate) specialized in designing and implementing AI/ML assisted omics data analysis pipelines for bulk RNA-seq, single-cell transcriptomics, clinical data). Proficient in ML based predictive models for biomarker and target discovery, validation, and disease progression analysis across preclinical. Experienced in NGS pipelines as per the study requirement for human and animal models (cynomolgus macaques, mice, and rat livers) and analyzing transcriptomics datasets from infected samples from Coronavirus, Zika, and Mycobacterium tuberculosis, A data scientist experienced in processed data generation and their downstream analysis (Bulk, scRNASeq, currently into spatial Tx). Experienced in NGS pipelines utilizing mostly R on high-performance computing clusters (Confluence, Bioclusters, etc), linux based servers, bash scripting, containerization (apptainer); SLURM scheduler, and comfortable with Python. My PhD thesis, titled 'Statistical Analysis of RNA-seq Data for Disease Signature Identification and Drug Discovery,' focused on leveraging bioinformatics for therapeutic advancements.
