A doctorate in Mathematics has worked in several prime institutes e.g. IIT, AIIMS, National Instt of Malaria Research (ICMR). Presently, is working as consultant for Health Impact Assessment of Narmada Valley Development projects at National Institute of Malaria Research, Delhhi. The only scientist from India acquireing training in Application of RS and GIS in health from NASA, USA. In India, the first to introduce RS and GIS in health, in specific, for decision support in malaria control. Earned many Awards. A reviewer of national and International journals and published > 101 research publications in journals of well repute. Present focus of work is to use RS and GIS for decision support of vector borne disease control.
