About
Sanjula Baboota obtained her B. Pharm. and M. Pharm. degrees with distinction from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Jamia Hamdard in 1993 and 1995, respectively. She received Gold Medal for standing first in the M. Pharm. course. She earned her Ph.D. degree in the year 2002. She has been bestowed with several honors, a few of them worth mentioning such as the Postdoctoral Research Award by University Grants Commission (2004), APTI Young Pharmacy teacher of the year award 2009, and several best paper presentation awards. She has attended various international conferences at Singapore, Malaysia and Vienna. She is also the Vice President of APTI Delhi State Branch. She is on the Editorial Board of Pharmapedia, an online pharmacy website. She is on the panel of Inspectors of PCI. Dr. Baboota teaches at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels, and her research has been funded by UGC/AICTE/CCRAS. She has written several textbooks and has contributed chapters in books on controlled and novel drug delivery systems. She has presented her research work at various conferences held in India and abroad. She has a list of over 155 articles in journals of repute. She is a member/life member of several Indian and international scientific organizations.
