I am a graduate in international public health from University College London and Curtin University. I have about 15 years of experience in teaching and research in public health focussing on maternity services utilisation, social and behavioural factors for maternal deaths, behaviour change communication and program evaluation. I use mixed-methods and have over 50 publications in international peer reviewed journals in the areas of maternity service utilisation, quality of maternity services, causes of maternal morbidity and mortality, gender preference, abortions, family planning, and breastfeeding
