Dr. Amit Nandan Dhar Dwivedi received his M.B.B.S and M. D degree from Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University India in the field of Radiodiagnosis and Imaging. Currently, he is working as Professor in Department of Radiodiagnosis and Imaging, Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University India since July 2015.
He completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (2017-2018 CGPA 8.8) from Institute of Management Sciences B.H.U
He started his career as Service Senior Resident, Sir Sunder Lal Hospital, IMS, BHU in July 2007. Joined as Assistant Professor Subharti Medical College, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut from November 2007 to March 2011. Joined BHU as Assistant Professor in March 2011 and served in this capacity till July 2015. He has teaching experience of 10 years of undergraduate and post graduate medical students. His primary research interests include Imaging of diabetic complications and Interventional Radiology and specially oncology and neuroimaging. He is author of International book titled “Lower Limb Ulcers: Indian study, Non Invasive diagnostic approach. LAMBERT ACADEMIC PUBLISHING” Dr Dwivedi has contributed five book chapters in indexed peer reviewed publications both national and International.

He has sixty one, 64 research articles in national and International level journals.
He is recipient of many awards like Padmakar Oration Award 2011, IRIA BN Khanna Award 2010, and Pearl Foundation National award for Best Associate Professor in Medical Sciences 2016, Young Faculty Award 2017, Bharat Jyoti Award 2018 to name a few.
He has presented various posters and oral presentations in national and international conferences. He is a reviewer of many indexed peer reviewed National and International Journals. He has to his credit 12 Invited lectures till date.
He is Life Member of six professional bodies /societies.
In addition to his research activities Dr Dwivedi has discharged many administrative roles at University level like Chairman Hospital Inspection Committee, Administrative Warden, Chairman Hospital Quality Control and Hygiene Committee to name a few.
