About
Dr. Gopal Ji is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Graphic Era Deemed to be University, Dehradun, India. Dr. Gopal Ji received his B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology, India in 2009. He completed his M. Tech. in “Materials Science and Technology” from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) Varanasi, India, in 2011. He received his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Technology (Corrosion Prvention) from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) Varanasi, India in 2015. He worked as a post doctoral fellow in Vrije University of Brussels, Belgium (2015-2018) and Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) Varanasi, India (2017-18). He joined Mechatronics department of Centre for Advanced Studies, Dr. APJAKTU Lucknow, India and worked there for 4 years (2019-2023). The major areas of his research interests are corrosion prevention of metals by using green and waste corrosion corrosion inhibitors, anti-corrosive coatings, composites, and nano composites. He also works in Tribology and surface engineering. He has published around 60 articles in International journals and Scopus indexed conference papers. He also contributed 04 book chapters in the book published by Springer. He is reviewers of more than 10 international journals like corrosion science, RSC, ACS, Journal of molecular liquid, etc. He has filed 02 Indian patents and supervised 16 M.Tech Projects with 4 ongoing projects.
