About
This is Dr. Paranthaman Vijayakumar, and I am currently working as a post-doctoral fellow. I delved into water splitting (HER and OER), emphasizing investigating novel two-dimensional (2D) materials. My exploration of nanosheets and delithiation techniques enabled me to alter the electronic states of various emergent materials. I am proficient in various solution-based synthesis techniques, including hydrothermal, Sol-gel, chemical, and pyrolysis. Moreover, I have extensively utilized characterization techniques like Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS), electrocatalytic performance assessment, XRD, FESEM, HRTEM, BET, U-V Visible spectroscopy, FTIR spectroscopy, and thickness profilometry. In the past 8 years, I have authored 21 academic papers, with contributions to esteemed journals such as Nano-micro Letters, ACS Applied Nano Materials, ACS Energy & Fuels, Journal of Energy Storage,Applied Materials Today, Electrochimica Acta, and others. Notably, one of my papers has been recognized as an ESI highly cited paper. The collective impact of my published work has resulted in over 600 citations, contributing to an H-index of 15.
