About
Animals, travelling, photography and research are my raison d'être (reasons to be) and I have found their harmonious convergence in my chosen profession-archaeology with a special inclination towards archaeozoology. The demands of this profession fulfil the dreams of my life! Multi-lingual, easily adaptable to different geographies and cultures, I thrive on a good research challenge and in exploring different methodologies and approaches to interpret findings, either independently or with a group/team and bring them to the people, experts and laymen alike, via publications, workshops and talks. Equipped with required institutional education and qualifications, I get to wear many hats in my job...that of a laboratory instructor, a field technician, a faculty member, an ethnographer etc…which makes me want to be an archaeologist and to do archaeology even more than the previous day!
