About
Dr. Tiwari is actively involved in research on carbon materials and the thermo-mechanical behavior of diverse 2D materials. He received his Ph.D. in Graphene-Based Polymer Nanocomposites from the IIT Dhanbad in December 2017. Over the course of his academic and research career, he has accumulated experience through significant engagements with renowned research labs worldwide. His extensive professional journey includes a tenure of over five years at notable research labs, such as HSCL in South Korea, GIFT in Guangxi, China, and as a Scientist NAWA fellow at the University of Warsaw, Poland. Dr. Tiwari's research contributions have culminated in the publication of more than 117 SCI articles and the of two patents. His work has garnered recognition, with over 5200+ Google citations (h-index of 33). In addition to his research accomplishments, Dr. Tiwari has edited ten academic books in collaboration with senior professors from the United Kingdom, Poland, and China, published by renowned international publishers. His standing as one of the world's top 1% highly cited scientists as per Sanford University/Elsevier database. Currently, Dr. Tiwari holds the position of Professor (Associate) and serves as the leader of the "Centre for New Materials and Surface Engineering" at his academic institution. He also contributes as a visiting faculty member at Guangxi University in Nanning, China. His research interests including nanosizing strategies, New materials, 2D nanomaterials, materials designed for extreme environments, Polymer nanocomposites, and the Thermo-mechanical properties of nanosystems.
Beyond his research works, Dr. Tiwari actively participates in the academic community by serving on the reviewer/editorial board of several international journals, including Nature, ACS, RSC, Elsevier, Springer, and other reputed magazines . Dr. Tiwari is very enthusiastic and looking forward to industrial collaborations involving nanomaterials processing, analysis, and applications. Dr. Tiwari often writes poems (Hindi, he published a book of Hindi poems), columns in Hindi newspapers, and is working on a book on social affairs.
