Dr. Ranjeet Kumar Singh is an academic and professional in the field of Library and Information Science with expertise in Research Data Management (RDM), Data Management Plan (DMP), Knowledge/Information Organization, Knowledge Management, Library Automation, Digital Libraries, and Research Methodology. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Librarian at the University of Delhi (Central Library). Prior to this, he worked as an Assistant Librarian at the National Institute of Advanced Manufacturing Technology (NIAMT) in Ranchi, Jharkhand, from March to October 2024. He has also held positions as a Consultant at the Centre for Agriculture and Bioscience International (CABI) in Oxfordshire, United Kingdom (November 2023 to February 2024), and as a Senior and Junior Research Fellow at the Documentation Research and Training Centre (DRTC), Indian Statistical Institute in Bangalore from 2019 to 2023.
He has a strong research profile, with numerous publications in reputed journals indexed in WoS & Scopus, such as Information Processing & Management, Journal of Librarianship and Information Science, The Electronic Library, Journal of Academic Librarianship, Journal of Library Metadata, Digital Library Perspectives, etc.
