Dr. Ruchi Mishra is an Associate Professor specializing in Production and Operations Management & Quantitative Techniques. She earned her PhD (Fellow) from IIM Mumbai (formerly NITIE) and currently serves as an Associate Editor for Operations Management Research (Springer). She is also on the editorial boards of the Journal of Asia Business Studies (Emerald), Journal of Global Operations & Strategic Sourcing (Emerald), and Scientific Reports (Nature Portfolio). Her paper was recognized as one of the top downloaded and cited papers by Wiley in 2020-21 and 2021-22. She has also been listed in the world's top 2% of scientists in the field of Business & Management and Operations Research, as per Stanford-Elsevier’s 2024 rankings. Dr. Mishra has published extensively in top-tier international journals, including Computers & Industrial Engineering, IEEE Transactions on Information Management, Annals of Operations Research, Business Strategy and the Environment, International Journal of Logistics Management, and International Journal of Consumer Studies.
Dr Mishra has led and contributed to key projects, including assessing GMDC-GVT’s community programs, evaluating irrigation schemes under PMKSY-HKKP, conducting a needs assessment for SC/ST and PwD communities for Tata Chemicals, and studying tribal welfare projects for D-SAG. She also coordinated a study on supply chain collaboration funded by ICSSR. Her work combines research and practical solutions to improve operations, sustainability, and community outcomes.
