Dr. Xavier Belsiyal C., PhD (Psychiatric Nursing), is an Associate Professor at the College of Nursing, AIIMS Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, India. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University, a Master's in Psychiatric Nursing from NIMHANS, Bengaluru, where she earned the University Gold Medal, and a PhD from the Indian Nursing Council. She also holds a Master's in Psychology, an MBA in Hospital Management, and is a registered RN with the Vermont Board of Nursing, USA. Actively involved in professional organizations, she serves as Treasurer of the Trained Nurses Association of India, Uttarakhand, and State Coordinator for the Indian Psychiatric Nurses Society. Additionally, she has completed a Certificate Course in Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) from Teachers College, Columbia University, USA.

With nearly 20 years of experience in clinical practice and nursing education, Dr. Belsiyal has mentored undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students in various government and private institutions across India. She has served as an examiner for nursing programs in multiple universities and nursing boards. A prolific researcher, she has over 35 publications in national and international journals and has authored two nursing books. Her dedication to advancing nursing education is reflected in her nomination for the MAHE FAIMER Fellowship at Manipal, aimed at enhancing nursing training and pedagogical skills.
