About
I am interested in non chemical management of insect pests in Horticulture and vegetable Ecosystem. I am working on Pheromone technology, induced resistance and host plant resistance.
I have demonstrated pheromone dispenser technology for the management of codling moth, fruit flies and Shoot and fruit borer on brinjal in India. In some places where management options were difficult due to social taboos I got success there by using scientific diplomacy, that might be new to world. Also provided new reports from India and Himalyan region which could be exploited for pest management to reduce the health hazards and insecticides.
Like to work on Invasive and Quarentine Insect PESTS.
