About
Dr.S.S.Sivaraju is received his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Coimbatore Institute of Technology (CIT), under Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore in April 1999. He got his Master’s degree with specialization in Electrical Machines from PSG College of Technology, under Bharathiyar University,Coimbatore in February 2004.
He received Ph.D. in the area of Electrical Drives and Control in the year 2013 from Anna University-Chennai. He joined as Assistant Electrical Engineer in Lakshmi Machine Works Pvt.Limited and served for a period of eight years. Later, he served as Senior Lecturer in Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology, Coimbatore. He has 22 years of teaching and 6 years of industrial experience. He has published research papers in both National and international Conferences. He has also published 47 papers in reputed International Journals. (SCI & Scopus Indexed )
At present, he is working as Professor and Head in R.V.S. College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. His research areas interest is Electrical Machine Deign, Power Electronics, Control Systems, Renewable Energy and Special Electrical Machines.He published several technical booksnamely Basic Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Circuit Theory, Digital Logic Circuits, Python Programming A Handbook and User Guide, Digital Electronics and Wireless Sensor Networks.He delivers Keynote Speechfor many international conferences around the India and other countries.
He is a Senior member IEEE, also life member of ISTE, SSI and IAENG. He is reviewer for IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Energy Conversion, Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology and International Journal of Sustainable Energy. He is international journal Associate Editor and Editorial board member for few journals.
He got Anna University recognized supervisor Ref. No: 2730053, three research scholar under the guides.He is also doctoral committee member for many research scholars of Anna University and other universities in India.
He is received “Excellent Academic Professor and Administrator Award”, Innovative Academician Achievement Award, Innovative Technological Research & Dedicated Professor Award and Commendation Award for Special Achievement from various foreign universities.
He acts as Central Valuation EEE board Chairman in Anna University and other institutions. He contributes QP Scrutiny,Engineering Question Paper Auditor and QP Setter for few Autonomous Institution in around Tamil Nadu.He applied two patents one in Indian government and another in Australian Government.
He is appointed as External Assessor for the promotion exercise to the post of Professor form Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia.He was signed MoU with Universiti Teknologi-MARA (UiTM) and Taylor’s University at Malaysia and he was visited along with two faculty members and 13 student sone week training program.
