About

Dr. Pradip K. Singh is an Archean Geologist and Geochemist specializing in early Earth history. Currently, he serves as an assistant professor in the Department of Geology at BHU, focusing on Precambrian Geology, Crustal Petrology, and geochemistry. His research centers on Archean granitoid-greenstone terranes aged 3.8 to 2.5 billion years, particularly in the Bundelkhand Craton. His ongoing projects investigate the metamorphic history and evolution of this region, as well as isotopic constraints on the Madawara Ultramafic–Mafic Complex.
In addition to teaching undergraduate and master's students (Precambrian geology of India, mineralogy, Indian mineral deposits, and metamorphic petrology), Dr. Singh has contributed to the field as an Associate Editor for Geochemistry at Elsevier and an Editorial Board Member at Discover Geoscience, Springer Nature. He actively reviews manuscripts for esteemed journals including Precambrian Research, Geosphere, and Geological Magazine, ensuring scientific integrity. He has also served as a guest editor for a special issue on the Bundelkhand Craton in the Minerals MDPI journal.
