About
Dr. Aayoosh Singh is a chemist specializing in functional optical materials, supramolecular chemistry, and fluorescence sensing. His research centers on the design and development of coumarin-based multifunctional probes and stimulus-responsive materials for the selective detection of cations and anions, with particular emphasis on Zn²⁺ and Cu²⁺ ions and their bioimaging applications. His work integrates organic synthesis, structural characterization, and photophysical analysis to understand structure–property relationships and develop high-performance sensing systems. His long-term research vision is to advance interdisciplinary innovations at the interface of chemistry, materials science, and optoelectronics, translating fundamental discoveries into scalable technologies for environmental and biomedical applications.
