About

Dr. (Engg.) Varghese Panthalookaran is a Senior Professor at the Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology (RSET). He earned his doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2007 from the University of Stuttgart, Germany, and holds a Master’s degree in Physics from Cochin University of Science & Technology, India. A passionate educationist, Dr. Panthalookaran has authored influential books that contribute to the evolving definition of modern education in the AI era.

He is actively involved in various governmental bodies focused on education and research. Since 2012, he has served as the Principal Member of the Sectional Committee (MED-04) of the Mechanical Engineering Department at the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). Additionally, he is a nominated member (Subject Expert) of the All-India Board of Management Studies (AIBMS) under the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India.

Currently, Dr. Panthalookaran is the Director of Rajagiri Media, the publisher of Pallikkutam - The Education Observer, a magazine dedicated to educating families. He also serves as the Director of Pallikkutam i-School, a visionary online university in development, aimed at promoting AI-native and entrepreneurial education on a global scale.
