Asir John Samuel, had completed Philosophiae Doctor / Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in 2020 from MM(DU), Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) Neurosciences with Pediatric Neurology (subspeciality) in 2011) from School of Allied Sciences (SOAHS), Manipal University, BPT from SRM college of Physiotherapy, SRM university, in 2009 and BSc in Psychology from Madras University. Also having additional qualifications in Acupuncture (Master in Acupuncture) and Yoga (Diploma in Yogic Sciences and Education). He has more than 14 + years of teaching and 16 + years of clinical experience and currently working as a Professor cum Vice Principal, Yenepoya Physiotherapy College (YPC), Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), Deralakatte, Mangalore- 575 018, Dakshina Kannada District, Karnataka, India. His interest areas include neuroscience, pediatrics, rehabilitation, physiotherapy, evidence-based practice, research methodology, and statistics.
He has delivered invited lectures on, “Clinical trial registry, are we aware of it?”, “Plagiarism in scientific writing”, “How to publish in peer-reviewed journals?”, “Publishing in SCOPUS indexed journals” and “Basic statistics for Physiotherapist using SPSS and introduction to SPSS”. Has conducted 10+ National workshop's on Research Methodology and Bio-statistics.
