About

I am doctoral graduate from Centre for Sustainable Technologies. I worked in the area of biomass to bioenergy, wastewater treatment. I was always fascinated with the question "why". I put that fascination and curiosity to use, asking "why" do biomass degrade the way they do. The next question I always ask "what" will do with the first "why", and "how" will I find the "why". These three questions helped me in the quest of designing the experiments with multitude of biomass to arrive at the factors affecting biogas production, understanding reactor design, and generalize the understanding. My interests lie in the area of biological conversions for energy, waste stabilisation and production of molecules of interest. I have a hands on approach to arrive at a solution, and believe in first principle basis for explanation of a concept.
