About

Dalai Gowri Sankar Rao is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Ravindra College of Engineering for Women (Autonomous), Kurnool, India. He received his Master’s degree in VLSI and Embedded Systems from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.

Presently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the KL Education Foundation (KLEF) Deemed to be University, Vijayawada. His doctoral research is situated at the forefront of the optical domain, focusing heavily on the design, simulation, and electromagnetic analysis of advanced photonic crystal waveguides and Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs). His work aims to pioneer high-efficiency, micro-scale optical components that circumvent the physical boundaries of traditional silicon microelectronics.

As a dedicated optical engineering researcher, Mr. Rao has actively contributed to the field by publishing his findings in prestigious, peer-reviewed international journals indexed in Science Citation Index (SCI) and Scopus. His expertise bridges the gap between theoretical electromagnetic modeling and scalable, hardware-level deployment. His research directly impacts the evolution of optical computing architectures, all-photonic data center networks, and the high-throughput physical-layer backbones essential for next-generation high speed communication frameworks.
