About
My fascination with insects has guided my research. My work focuses on characterizing insecticide resistance and its underlying biochemical and molecular mechanisms in mosquito populations from the sub-Himalayan region of West Bengal, India, alongside studies on insect taxonomic and ecological diversity. I have recently joined as a Deputy Assistant Director (Entomology) at the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), contributing to vector surveillance and control initiatives.
