About
Senior Bioinformatics Scientist | Academic Leader | Research Director | Structural Biology & Multi-Omics Expert
With over 15 years of multidisciplinary experience spanning bioinformatics, molecular biology, multi-omics, clinical research, and academic leadership, I specialize in developing computational strategies that drive impactful discoveries in human health, infectious diseases, neurodegeneration, nutrition science, and precision medicine.
I have served in progressive scientific leadership roles at ICMR-NIN for nearly a decade, contributing to national-level programs such as the UKRI-GCRF Action Against Stunting Hub, maternal–infant microbiome cohorts, breast milk microbiome studies, DNA methylation (EPIC 850K) profiling, and multiple NGS-based translational research initiatives. My expertise spans molecular docking, molecular dynamics simulations, protein modeling, epigenetics, nutrigenomics, and therapeutic target discovery.
Today, as the Director of Academics & Training at Manna Biotech Pvt. Ltd., I lead advanced training programs, guide postgraduate research, and design industry-ready curricula in genomics, proteomics, immunology, structural biology, and computer-assisted drug/vaccine design. I have mentored 100+ MSc, M.Tech, and PhD researchers, building strong scientific teams and fostering innovation-driven learning.
My research portfolio includes 38+ peer-reviewed publications, 873+ citations, h-index 17, 50+ conference proceedings, multiple book chapters, and editorial roles in leading journals. I have been a reviewer for high-impact journals including PLOS One, JBSD, Molecules, Foods, Pharmaceuticals, and others.
I am passionate about computational drug discovery, multi-omics data integration, AI-driven biology, vaccine target identification, and translational research that bridges bench, bedside, and bioinformatics.
