Dr Vaishali Khaparde Working as Senior Professor and Head , ,Dept of Library and Information Science , Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University ,Aurangabad (Maharashtra ) India , Dean ,Interdisciplinary Studies ,SENATE member and Management Council Member,Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University ,Aurangabad . She is former Chairman, BOS Library and Information Science .She has total 30 years of teaching Experience for Post Graduation .She Has published more than 250 Research Papers in various Scopus Indexed ,Web of Science Indexed and various National and International Journals, Presented 128 Papers in National as well as International Conferences .She has to her credit 17 Books .She has H-Index 11 and i10- Index 14 with 561 citations received.
She is the Executive Council Member of Central University of Rajasthan.Ajmer . She is also Finance committee member of Central University of rajasthan,Ajmer. She is the member of BOS Library and Information Science in Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda ,Vadodara , And Mizoram university, Aizawl, . She is the Chief Editor of World Research Journal of Library and Information Science ISSN: 2278-702X & E-ISSN : 2278-7038 and an Associate Editor of National Journal i.e. The Horizon: A Biannual Research Journal ISSN 2229-4554 , and Associate Editor , of Bonfring International Journal of Data Mining ISSN : 2277-503X(online) ISSN: 2250-1053(Print). She worked as a Guest Editor for World International Journal of Library and Information Science , Bio-info publications . She is the member of Library and Information Science Forum of International Researchers of American Research Institute for policy Development ,UK .She is the Life Member of Indian Library Association (ILA), Indian Association of Teachers in Library and Information Science ( IATLIS), Indian Association of special Libraries and Information Centers(IASLIC) , Management Library Network ( MANLIBNET), BAMUTA , SALIS. .Her Areas of specialization are Bibliometrics, Library management, Non Book Material,ICT,Digitisation ,Knowledge Management ,Library Automation . She is Examiner and Paper setter for SET Examination in Library & Information science. She has visited Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) for Paper Presentation at International Conference in Library & Information Society. Visited Singapore as well as Bangkok University Libraries .She has also visited Srilanka (Colombo) for paper presentation.
She has been honoured by the Research Professor Award for the year 2016-17 by Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad. She has been honoured by the “International Gold Star Award “in 2011; she has also been honoured by national awards “Bharat Jyoti Award” and “Best Citizens of India Award “in 2011. Kartabgar Mahila Puraskar by the Maharashtra State OBC Association 2012 and Dhammakanya Puraskar by Maharashtra State Samrat Association 2012. She was the Course Coordinator of Five Refresher Courses in Library and Information Science as well as coordinator of Training programmes in Library Automation and Coordinator of the ICSSR, New Delhi sponsored Research Methodology course for Ph.D students. She is the Ph D Guide and 08 students have registered and 30 students has been awarded Ph.D.degree. Two International Candidate from Yemen have also awarded PhD degree under her guidance . She has guided more than 80 students at MLISC and 48 students at M.Phil. Level. She is the Referee and also Editorial Board member of various Peer Reviewed National and International Journals published from UK and USA .
