About
R.K. Gautam did his post-graduation (2009) and Ph.D. (2017) in Environmental Science from the University of Allahabad, India. Since, December 2023, he has been engaged in Raja Jwala Prasad Postdoctoral Research at BHU Varanasi. He did a postdoctoral fellowship at BHU between 2018-2021 as DS Kothari PDF. He completed a postgraduate Disaster Management diploma from Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi in 2013. He earned a postgraduate diploma in Spectroscopy in 2021-2022 at the Physics Department, BHU. He worked for one year in the National Environmental Engineering Research Institute, Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (NEERI-CSIR), Nagpur, India. He qualified for CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test for Junior Research Fellowship. It is worthwhile to mention that he has author/co-author in 52 research and review papers, 22 book chapters, and wrote a monograph entitled, “Nanomaterials for Wastewater Remediation” published by Elsevier (USA) and edited a book entitled, “Advanced Nanomaterials for Wastewater Remediation” published by CRC Press, Taylor and Francis (USA). He has also written a book entitled, “Environmental Magnetism: Fundamentals and Applications” Lambert Academic Publishing, Saarbrucken, Germany.
He is selected as a Fellow of the Indian Chemical Society and Life Member of the Indian Science Congress Association in 2013. He also serves as a reviewer for more than 25 journals of international repute. His areas of interests are adsorption and nanomaterials, and their analogues for water/wastewater remediation.
