About
I am a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Rochester Medical Center, working on cardiac mitochondrial metabolism. My PhD thesis work was the regulation of oxidative stress in zebrafish under hypoxic and variable pH conditions and their effects on mitochondrial organization and functions. I am immensely interested in working on mitochondrial metabolism and biochemical aspects in cardiovascular and neurodegenerative diseases in humans.
