About
My journey in the field of chemistry reflects a deep passion for scientific discovery, continuous learning, and academic excellence. I began my academic career at Amity University, Noida, where I earned my Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Chemistry in 2019. This formative experience laid a strong foundation in chemical sciences and sparked my enduring interest in research.
Driven by a desire to deepen my understanding of chemistry, I pursued a Master of Science in Chemistry at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, graduating in 2021. During this period, I developed a comprehensive understanding of advanced chemical concepts and strengthened my analytical and research skills, further inspiring me to pursue a career in scientific research.
I subsequently joined the Department of Chemistry, Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), New Delhi, as a research scholar, where I completed my doctoral research in chemistry. My research focused on the design and synthesis of functional organic and coordination compounds, nanomaterials, and their applications in chemical sensing, environmental remediation, and advanced functional materials. Through interdisciplinary research involving organic synthesis, coordination chemistry, nanotechnology, spectroscopy, and computational studies, I have contributed to the development of innovative materials with promising real-world applications.
Alongside my research, I had the privilege of serving as a Teaching Fellow at Ashoka University, Sonipat, Haryana, where I contributed to undergraduate science education. In this role, I assisted in teaching the interdisciplinary course in the department of Chemistry, mentored students, facilitated laboratory and classroom learning, prepared instructional materials and assessments, and supported an engaging academic environment. This experience strengthened my communication, mentoring, and leadership skills while reinforcing my passion for teaching and inspiring the next generation of scientists.
From the dynamic academic environment of Noida to the serene landscapes of Hamirpur, and from pioneering research at NSUT in New Delhi to enriching undergraduate education at Ashoka University, my academic journey has been defined by dedication, intellectual curiosity, and a commitment to advancing scientific knowledge. I aspire to continue contributing to cutting-edge research while fostering innovation, collaboration, and excellence in both research and higher education.
