Dr. E. Aravindraj is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, Avadi, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, where he joined on 29 July 2026. He received his Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Pondicherry University in 2024, with research focused on the design and development of advanced fractal microstrip antennas for multiband wireless communication applications, including ultra-wideband (UWB), 5G, and next-generation wireless systems. He obtained his M.Tech. in Wireless Communication in 2017 and B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from institutions affiliated with Pondicherry University.

Prior to joining Vel Tech University, Dr. Aravindraj served as an Assistant Professor, at Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science (MITS) Deemed to be University from August 2023 to July 2026. Earlier, he worked as a Guest Lecturer in the Department of Electronics Engineering, Pondicherry University (July 2018 – April 2019), and as a Senior Reviewer Selection Editor for Wiley journals at Integra Software Services Pvt. Ltd. (June 2022 – August 2023), where he contributed to scholarly publishing and peer-review management.

Dr. Aravindraj has successfully secured research and professional activity funding from the IEEE Communications Society to organize international workshops and technical events, demonstrating his commitment to promoting research, innovation, and global academic collaboration. His paper titled "Multi-band Sierpinski Arrowhead Fractal Antenna with 3 × 3 CSRR Array" received the Best Paper Award at the Emerging Trends and Technologies on Intelligent Systems (ETTIS-2024) conference organized by C-DAC (Centre for Development of Advanced Computing), Government of India.
