About
Born in a farm family on 01 September 1995 in Uttar Pradesh; Omkar did M.Sc. (Ag) from N.D. University of Agriculture and Technology, (U.P.) and Ph.D from SVP University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut, (U.P). Being the son of a farmer Omkar is exposed and worked in the main cropping systems of eastern Indo-Gangetic plains. He is well versed with the socio-economic conditions and production challenges of the farming communities in EIGP. Presently, I am contributing to the studies related to climate change effects on agriculture as senior research fellow at SVPUA&T, Meerut. Omkar is trained in field experimentation as well as in laboratory analyses. As a team player I am ready to accept challenges for contributing to the sustainable development through agriculture.
