About

Yagyavalkya Sharma, Senior Scientist and Training Co-ordinator at Department of Biotechnology & Microbiology, Kalp Laboratory, Sonkh Road, Mathura. I have completed my Masters in the field of Biotechnology at GLA University, Mathura (India). I have taken several courses in Biotechnology, Where i worked with Biological Techniques such as RT-PCR, Serological Test, DNA isolation, RNA isolation, Purification, SDS-PAGE, Electrophoresis, Primer Designing, and BLAST. I have also acquired research experience in the field of Virology and Biotechnology during his M.Sc Project as a post of trainee at IARI, Pusa, New Delhi, India. I have completed my project under the supervision of (Principal Scientist Dr. G.P. Rao, Div.of Plant Pathology, IARI, New Delhi) in which, I have analysed and observed about (Detection of Phytoplasma can be easily done by PCR and one of the major components in PCR detection of pathogen that is preparation of nucleic acid and templates). I have also worked as a Young professional-I in Central Institute for Research on Goats (ICAR) Farah, Mathura on VTCC project funded ICAR. I have expertise in handling Molecular Virology, Biotechnology, PCR, Electrophoresis, DNA isolation, purification, cloning, and C-DNA synthesis. His main focus is on Molecular relevant all technologies. Recently during COVID crisis and before COVID, I have organised about 35 National and International Conferences and Workshop as an Organising secretary. I have also designed BSL-2 Laboratories in Mathura city where thousands of science students are benefited and completed their project work under my supervision. I have successfully applied my research skills, and maintained the laboratory. I have also participated in planning experiments as well as evaluating test results, monitored equipment performance and maintenance schedules. In addition to the lab work, I recorded, calculated, and analyzed data, and prepared reports. I have worked closely with a team of researchers and learned the value of good lab practice. I am very much interested in the field of Molecular Biology and wants to put all my learning skills into this field and can handle every kind of DNA and RNA relevant work.

I have two years teaching experience as an Assistant Professor in Sanskriti University, Mathura and three Year experience as a Managing Director at Zenith Academy, Vrindavan.
I am also working as an UP program Coordinator for The Bouquet Society, Mathura, Here my duty is to design and organized many program like Blood Donation Camp, Health Check-up Camp, Farmer Training Program. I always likes to do for needy person so i also organized many other social programs like Women Empowerment, Anna Seva, Street Animal Safety, Street Education etc.
1- Successfully guided and co-guided 50 dissertations/thesis for Life Science students from various institutions from all over India, many of the work from which have been published and presented in various journals and conference.
2- Developed, designed and successfully started BSL-2 laboratories in Mathura, India
3- 30 Research Paper/Article/Chapter Published at National and International Journal
