Dr Baldeo B. Kakde is an Assistant Professor in Commerce (Account and Statistics) at Manoharbhai Patel College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Sakoli. Affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur. Maharashtra, India. He has over 14 years of teaching and research experience. About education qualification, B.com (Computer Application) (Merit), PGDBM (Merit), M.com, MBA(Finance), MA (Economics), UGC-NET, SET (Commerce and Management), PhD, Pursuing PostDoc. His teaching interests include Financial Management, Financial Market, Business Finance, Income Tax, Financial Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, Statistics, Advanced Financial Accounting, Advanced Cost Accounting, Advanced Management Accounting, Operations Research, etc. at UG and PG levels.
He has over 30 research publications to his credit, published in Scopus (Q1, Q2 and Q3), WoS, ABDC, UGC Care, etc. Presented various papers in national and international conferences, and some research papers were published in peer-reviewed journals. He was the Convenor of a national conference organised by the college and also worked as a guest editor for two different volumes of the UGC CARE Journal. Cordinator of Research and Development cell of college, Editorial Board Member of international journals Economics, Finance and Management (Science Publishing Group), New York, USA and a few other journals. He works as a reviewer for many high-quality journals. He has a PhD. Supervisor at RTM Nagpur University, and four students are pursuing PhD under his guidance. His research area is finance and accounting, Investment Behaviour, Consumer behaviour, Investment analysis, MSME, FPO, etc. His proficiency in research techniques in Meta-Analysis, SLR, Conjoint Analysis, Correspondence Analysis, etc.
He is the author of six books on finance and the financial market. He is a Member of the BOS (Account and Statistics Board) at RTM Nagpur University. He works on many committees of Nagpur University. He is actively involved in capacity building and has delivered 100 plus sessions on finance, money management, Stock market, Fundamental analysis, Research Methodology, etc., in many reputed management Institutes, colleges, and universities of central India, including IIM Nagpur. He is actively involved in social work through Shree Gurudeo Seva Mandal in Maharashtra.
