Dr. David Kumar is currently working as an Assistant Professor at IIT Madras, India. He did his master's and doctoral studies at IIT Kanpur. Before his current position, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Chaoyang University of Technology, Taiwan. His research interests include Experimental Structural Mechanics, Structural Health Monitoring, Smart Materials & Structures, Nanocomposites, and Designing Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. He has published more than 25 research articles in refereed journals and conferences.
