About

I am Dr. Mulavagili Vijayasimha, Professor in the Department of Medical Laboratory Technology at Chandigarh University, India. With more than 20 years of academic and research experience, I have served in leading universities including Jaipur National University, Amity University, Rishihood University, Neotia University, CT University, and Malla Reddy University.

I hold an M.Sc. in Biochemistry, an M.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology, and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry. My teaching expertise spans Clinical Biochemistry, Enzymes, Vitamins, Medical Laboratory Techniques, Hematology, Immunology, and related fields at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I have also supervised Ph.D. and M.Sc. dissertations.

My research focuses on clinical biochemistry, enzymology, and novel diagnostic markers for acute kidney injury and other metabolic disorders. I have published extensively in national and international journals, contributed book chapters, and filed multiple patents.

I am actively engaged in academic leadership, having served as Head of Department, Board of Studies (BOS) member at several universities, and advisor to laboratories and institutions. I am also a permanent member of professional associations including the All India Medical Laboratory Technologists Association, Association of Clinical Biochemists of India, and the International Society for Development and Sustainability.

Alongside my academic journey, I have contributed as a reviewer, textbook author, and speaker at conferences and workshops, with a passion for advancing Allied Health Sciences education and research in India.
