About
My research interest lies in the development of computational methodology and modeling of advanced functional
materials for topological, magnetic, optical and superconducting applications, in particular topological and optical
properties of Dirac and Weyl semimetals, Ising superconductors and layered wide-gap semiconductors. This
encompasses a broad range of materials from 2D halide perovskites, transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs),
Group IV – VI compounds and unveils unique unexplored aspects of topologically protected edge states, berry
geometrical phase, excitons, spin-spirals, quantum transport and two-dimensional interfaces for problems in
efficient device applications and data-assisted materials design, photovoltaics, spintronics, and theoretical
spectroscopy.
