ARAN GLENN

About

Aran Glenn John Chrisastum was born on 17th April 1991 in Nagercoil, India. He received his bachelor degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, India in 2012 and his M.E. degree in Power Systems Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, India. He has done his M.S. in Cyber Security and M.B.A. in Human Resource Management. During his Ph.D, he developed a solar powered hybrid high gain converter and optimization algorithms for EV charging System. The research was fully funded by AMET University and was awarded the ‘Most significant innovation in electric vehicles charging’. He worked in collaboration with Centre for Research on Micro Grids, Aalborg University, Denmark for EV research work. For his PhD, he co-developed a smart charger for electric vehicles that is powered by solar panels. Currently, he is working as an Senior Engineer(R&D) in the EV Product Design Department at VerdeMobility and System Level Solutions(I) Pvt. Ltd. & Adjunct Professor in the School of Electrical Engineering(SELECT) at VIT University, Chennai & working on several projects related to electric mobility.
