Prof. Sadanand Pandey is a distinguished academic and researcher, currently serving as Professor in the faculty of Applied Science and biotechnology at Shoolini University, India. With over 17 years of experience in the field of Materials Science, Prof. Pandey has made profound contributions to the advancement of organic–inorganic nanocomposites, with applications spanning water purification, nanosensors, sustainable energy, and biomedicine.
He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Allahabad and subsequently held a prestigious UGC-Kothari Fellowship at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore—one of India’s premier research institutions. His academic journey has been enriched through extensive international experience, including his tenure as a Research Professor at Yeungnam University in South Korea, Senior researcher at RIST (POSCO), South Korea, North West University, South Africa as PDRF and NRF Innovation Post doctoral research scientist at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa.
Prof. Pandey’s research spans polymer science, nanotechnology, and composite materials, with particular emphasis on nanocomposites and surface modifications. His recent investigations delve into the development of multifunctional hydrogels for nutrient recovery, targeted drug delivery, water remediation, and biomedical applications. He is also actively engaged in designing advanced photocatalysts, contributing significantly to the domains of nanotechnology, environmental science, and energy research.
An accomplished scholar, Prof. Pandey has authored more than 300 publications in Scopus-indexed, peer-reviewed journals and has presented his findings at numerous national and international conferences. His research has earned global recognition, with over 14,000 citations on Google Scholar in the past six years alone. He is a recipient of the prestigious Young Scientist Award from the Indian Science Congress and has been consistently recognized among the Top 2% of Scientists Worldwide in a subject-wise analysis conducted by Stanford University for five consecutive years.
In addition to his prolific publication record, Prof. Pandey has contributed over 10 books as editor and 30 book chapters as author for leading scientific publishers (Scopus) in the United States. He is a highly sought-after peer reviewer, having evaluated more than 2,000 manuscripts for over 350 international journals and funding bodies, demonstrating his commitment to advancing scientific integrity and quality.
