Dr. Shakeb Akhtar is currently working as Faculty in University of Technology and Applied Science, Ibra, Oman; Research Fellow in INTI International University, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia; Research Fellow in College of Business Administration, A’Sharqiyah University, Ibra, Oman; Research Associate in Department of Economics, Ala-Too International University, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan and Adjunct Faculty in School of Management, Universal Ai University, Greater Mumbai, Karjat, Maharashtra, India. He is also a Guest Editor in Discover Global Society, Springer (Scopus Indexed) and Associate Editor in PLOS ONE (Scopus Indexed). He holds an MFC and Ph.D. in Banking and Finance from Aligarh Muslim University, India. He specializes in accounting and finance related courses and has over 10 years teaching experience in accounting and finance at both tertiary and senior high school levels. Previously he was Program Director (MBA-FS), Chair Professor, Research Coordinator and Examination cell head in School of Business, Woxsen University, Hyderabad, India. Then before that Division Chair (Area Chair) and Assistant Professor at Galgotias University, Greater Noida, India. His research interest is in banking industry, behavioral economics, and secondary data analysis techniques. He has made significant contributions to the research community by publishing in prestigious journals indexed in ABDC, ABS, Scopus and Web of Science journals with 50 publication.
